G'day for Monday.

Sorry difficult child and you are having a rough time, Rabbit. I hope things improve soon.

I had a busy day today. Neurologist appointment in the late morning, met up with mother in law there too (after her appointment with the same guy). She got a lift there but not home, so we'd arranged to get a lot of errands run while we were both out. Took easy child 2/difficult child 2 to the GP to organise referrals to a couple of her specialists, including the surgeon for the surgery (we hope). GP confirmed the pathology results are CIN3. Took mother in law to get her drivers licence renewed and collect her new credit card from the bank. Took easy child 2/difficult child 2 to the motor registry too, because she needs to get her drivers licence set up in her married name. But it seems there is another government department she has to see first, so while mother in law was waiting for her number to be called, easy child 2/difficult child 2 & I checked out a specialist Halloween store having it's last day, half price sale. difficult child 3's drama class needs stuff for costumes for an upcoming play, plus the Christmas carols pageant needs angel halos ($1 each) so I stocked up. easy child 2/difficult child 2 found a toy raven which squawks - we've decided it should be called "Quoth".

Then home, armed with an easy meal of beef skewers bought pre-prepared from the butcher.

Tomorrow night is drama class, I have some surprises for people!

Enjoy your Monday, everyone.

Good Morning Everyone:bloodshot::coffee2:,

Rabbit, Sorry to hear difficult child 3 isn't doing well - Hope things improve ASAP!!!

Marg, As always, you're just so BUSY. Sounds like the visit to the Halloween store was not only fun but very productive too:D.

Today is off to a very cold start:coldday:. It's definitely beginning to feel like winter around here... I'm ready for summer again, lol...

As soon as the customer service line is open, I have to call our new health insurance company. Of course they cashed our check right away but were unable to give us our new ID number for our health plan which is effective today:mad:. With any luck, we'll have our new ID cards within the next ten business days...

difficult child 2 meets with his life coach after school today. She had him make a list of a week's worth of meals. Today he is going to the grocery store to price everything. Friday he begins an after school cooking class. Although he isn't happy that he is no longer a child, he understands that he must learn the skills that all young adults need to master.

Got to go. Running late!!! Still in my pj's - Need to get dressed, take my favorite "sanity saver" outside and begin the day...

As always, hope everyone has a good day... SFR

:fall: Good No Meltdown Monday!

Rabbit, sorry difficult child is not doing well - fingers crossed he gets back in line!

Marg, I didn't know mother in law drove anymore.....good deal on the half price costumes - around here they don't go on sale at the halloween stores - they just pack them up for next year!

SFR, I like the sound of that life skills coach! It's getting a little chilly around here as well - 40's this morning. Hope your day is a good one!

It's Monday so that means laundry and housework for me!

We had a record Halloween last night. We gave out 830 pieces of candy between 5:15 and 8:00 (we actually ran out of candy about 7:55)! At the very end of the night we broke out the "emergency stash", little tootsie rolls - we gave out two of those per kid. Our count was around 700!!!! It was a fun night but difficult child and I were moving a tad slow this morning but his incentive was no school tomorrow on election day!

Hope your Monday is stress-free, productive, and there are no meltdowns (including you!).

Good morning~

Rabbit, I hope difficult child is feeling better and more like himself soon.
Marg, you busy lady. I wish I had 1/2 your energy. Like Sharon, I didn't think mother in law drove anymore either!
SFR, it's chilly here also this morning. In fact, it has been chilly for a couple of days - but I nice chilly, not bone chilling. I want a life coach!
Sharon, I'm glad your Halloween was fun and busy. I am always a little disappointed each year as it seems the number of trick or treaters has dwindled. I think we only had about 20 kids last night. And it was early - I hope it was because it was a Sunday!

I am home with a head cold today. It seems I've become a bit of a cold magnet! And I'm not liking it one bit. Having just gotten over that chest thing, I really do not want a cold. The woman who did my brow waxing the other day was wearing a mask and said it was allergies. I should have left, but decided to go with it. Then, H and I went to breakfast yesterday morning, early, and there was a young family of five behind us hacking, coughing, sneezing and blowing. The baby was even blowing bubbles out of his nose! Who takes their sick children out to breakfast like that?! So aggravating. Anyway, I'm beginning to feel my germaphobe stuff going nuts and am inclined to stay out of all public places for the winter! difficult child also has the cold - came down with it last night.

Okay, so maybe I should have another cup of coffee - sorry for the rant!

I hope you all have a great Monday!
