Gum in the Dryer?

I haven't looked at it yet, but easy child told me there's gum stuck in the dryer.....oh, the joys of leaving your 18 year old boy alone in the house for 2 weeks.

Any tips on how to remove gum from the inside of my dryer??? Hello? Heloise?!?

Oh fun.

Yup, we had this happen... the best thing I could come up with was to hit the gum with an ice cube - it should pop right off. If not, whatever remains - run the dryer on LOW heat for about 5 minutes then wipe.

Goo Gone works wonders, too... But you have to clean THAT up before you run the dryer again.

Of course, it depends on WHERE the gum is stuck.

You can freeze it with canned air, and chip it off the side. We used to use this back in my retail days, on gum on the carpet.
