...and sideswiped a pole in the school parking lot. Fortunately, she's driving a '77 Chevy Silverado, made of good old solid Detroit steel. If she had been driving my cute little Coke can, the car would be toast. No major damage, just scraped the side of the truck, thank goodness, but the embarrassment factor has been huge. All her friends saw her and have been giving her the business about it. The incident has toned her attitude down considerably, and I'm hoping we don't need a more serious accident to keep her in line.

Know what, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

I mean, thank God she is OK, and yeah, they don't make cars like they used to. Instead of needing repairs on the Chevy, she got a free attitude adjustment, courtesy of natural consequences.
