Happy 14th Birthday difficult child 2!

My "little" boy turns 14 today! He's taller than me now, and he's matured a lot in the past year, but he is still very much a child. Perhaps that's the difficult child-ness in him.

I think his favorite gift today was a camouflage "Snuggi" easy child had picked out for him, and a video game he'd asked for.

Can't believe he's this old... where has the time gone?

License at 14? OMG! Here, it's 16 for a permit and 17 for a license with driver's ed and 18 without.

Happy birthday, difficult child! I have a 14 year old who is chomping on the bit for his permit. Just under 18 months.

Thank you all! He had a good day I think. It's just hard when a kid's birthday falls on a week day and there's lots of homework. At least next year it falls on a Friday!
