Thanks, it was strange birthday. I guess at my age it is ok to have a non birthday, lol! My nieces and nephews all called to sing...sister sent a text but my nephew told her that was lame.

Q had a rough day.... but at the very last minute came into my room and said, Happy Birthday Mom and put his arms around me. I kissed him and told him I loved him. I partly think he did it because he is worried I wont let him go to school today. He knows I wont let him when he has such a hard time controlling his impulses. That rash needs to get better. We will see how the morning goes.

Happy Birthday! I'm counting backwards on mine and I think I'm about 12 now. My daughter (and difficult child's mommy) just wanted a day where the school didn't call anybody to come pick up the boy for her birthday yesterday, and she got it. No calls! Of course, a behavioral specialist was 6 inches from him at all times.... And it sounds like you had a sweet moment with your difficult child---priceless, right?
