One hint for the appointment with the bone doctor - get your reg doctor to do calcium, vit d and other basic lab tests a week or two before you see the specialist. It will save some time and give him some valuable info that otherwise he would have to order and have you come back for another visit - which costs time and money, Know what I mean?? Also have your estrogen and other hormone levels run - those can help figure out possible causes and ways to slow down or reverse the bone issues.</p><p></p><p>You might consider trying massage therapy to help with this. trigger point massage can be esp helpful. You may want to get a thera cane to help with this. It is a hook shaped plastic thingy that is designed to let you massage your body - even the back and other hard to reach places. it is amazingly helpful, in my opinion. Docs can order them as durable medical equipment, or you can get them on amazon, at a medical supply store, etc.... And, if you need to put muscle rub or something on your back, you can put a clean panty liner on the knob on the curved end and put the cream right where you want it. yes, odd way to use pantyliners, but it is super-helpful, esp if you are alone or don't want to wake someone up and have a bad charley horse.</p><p></p><p>I hope something I suggested helps.
