Following is some stuff I read on the internet:

Unlike children with involuntary enuresis, children who intentionally urinate in inappropriate places often have other serious psychiatric disorders.

Voluntary, or intentional, enuresis may be associated with other mental disorders, including behavior disorders or emotional disorders including anxiety.

Unlike involuntary enuresis, voluntary enuresis is not common. It is associated with such psychiatric disorders as oppositional defiant disorder, and is substantially different from ordinary nighttime bed-wetting. Voluntary enuresis is always secondary.

I think Jules's research answers your question as to why the mom said her son went on to cut and self harm. Usually voluntary enuresis is secondary to a diagnosis of serious behavior and psychological problems.

If your son was to cut, this will not happen overnight, rather, this type of behavior disorder and mental illness is a process of the mind slowly unraveling. However, proper medication can help the mind stay stable.

Slowly, your son's behaviors are forming a picture of his DXs - which is why - once you are able to get into to see a doctor he will be able to put all of these pieces together, and see the full picture.

How is he doing on the increase of Wellbutrin? You can see adverse reactions from a medication almost immediately......so be sure and journal everything.
