Horrible and scary weekend

MWm, while drugs could cause this, I think there is enough going on in this house, plus the long-term NOT drug-related problems with difficult child, that this all makes perfect sense to me, unfortunately, without there needing to be drugs to explain it.

Not saying that drugs aren't involved - just that with all this, it doesn't need to be drugs, to be this bad.

Yeah, I don't know the whole story.

HOWEVER, it's better to be safe than sorry. Drugs make everything a lot worse and in my opinion should ALWAYS be considered when a teenager acts out that way. If they happen to be a factor, that needs to be stopped first before anything else is going to work. difficult children that end up in the legal system most often do so because of drugs. It's always smart to have a test run at a hospital.
