I took difficult child, Diva, and Diva's boyfriend to a RedHawks game tonight (learned tonight it is a semi-pro league). Their mascot is named Hawkeye and roams the audience all night long.
Hawkeye came over near our area and I said to difficult child, "Oh look, there is Hawkeye!" difficult child looks confused and starts searching. "Where?" "Over there!" "Oh, I thought you said hot guys!"
Now, even if that is what I said, I would have expected difficult child to be shocked that I would talk to him like that. But no, didn't bother him a bit! "difficult child, I am your MOM! I will not be pointing out "hot guys" to my 12 year old son!"
Then I find out where he got it from. Diva did the same thing to boyfriend when he told her Hawkeye was nearby.
My kids! Oh brother!
