This is a bit "off topic" but I just scan read the thread and realized that you may not be aware that distance learning classes
are readily available and DO count toward graduation requirements
so long as the source is certified. A few difficult children didn't graduate
(or didn't graduate with their class) due to being behind in their own local school. IF a difficult child is motivated and the parents
can come up with a few extra bucks there are alot of choices. DDD

DDD, I'm not quite sure of the details of his graduation issue and have a call into his PO to try to figure it out.

Apparently, he has the TOTAL number of credits necessary to graduate, but he has too many credits in one of the sciences and not enough in another.

I think this is due to the fact that there are certain requirements in our school district which are different from the district in which he's currently enrolled.
