husband and I have a night off!

And we really need one! DS has moved back to this part of the state and has his own place now. This will be his first time to have both girls overnight since they went in to foster care 7 to 8 years ago. He has been doing well for the last 6 years, but lived about 200 miles away and worked most weekends, so he usually came here to see them or we went there. Even our exchange student has plans for the evening, too. We will spend time with another couple tonight... which doesn't happen real often for us.

Last night was rough... so looking forward to good times with no kids tonight! KSM

I hope your evening is terrific. It is so easy to have life revolve around the kids and forget that you are a couple and not just parents. My husband and I actually went out of town together recently for the first time in five years. We really enjoyed our time and the lack of stress. Best thoughts coming your way. DDD
