dj, my husband has chronic pain and is BiPolar (BP). When he takes his pain medications as prescribed, he is a horrible pain. Huge GROUCH!! Usually he just takes one or two percs a day, but if he needs more look out.

He was on 200mg Lamictal a day, and had headaches while titrating up but the headaches left after the dose was stable for a few days.

I would get a medication check, soon, before you go postal. Hang in there.
