My friend's dad recorded a track on a compilation album in tribute of folk legend Utah Phillips. The album has been nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Traditional Folk album!!!!!!
If any of you are from the Grand Rapids area of MI, his name is Mick Lane and he's in an Irish and Irish American folk band there.
The album is called Singing Through The Hard Times: A Tribute To Utah Phillips and can be seen here. You can also listen to snippets and Mick's track, Hellelujah I'm a Bum, is on Disc 2.
