I know it's a little too soon to tell

but difficult child started Risperdal again this last Wednesday and I have not seen one tantrum or loss of temper since. Even when Gramma told him she wasn't going to get him a Wizard 101 card (because I said no, long story) and I suggested an art pad or a drawing book, he rolled with it. He came home with a nerf rifle, but it wasn't a game card, and no tantrum attached!

A few threats, toward easy child, but nothing like normal.

I'm knocking on wood here! Hope I'm not jinxing anything.

That is awesome! Did you praise him for handling the situation in a calm and mature way? Also let him know you are noticing a positive change in his behavior this week and you are proud that he has been able to remain calm and make good choices.

As soon as I start to relax and we get this nice rhythm going, the old difficult child resurfaces.. he's back..
