You are starting to detach it sounds like. That is a good thing, although it feels horrible at first. I think mother's like us that love with such ferocity can sometimes only detach by becoming numb. However, it will be short lived - your feelings will come back - but hopefully in small pieces - and not in overwhelming waves like they were before.

Let this be OK for you right now. It is what your mind and soul need. You will love her again - but for now you need the wall to cope and make better decisions for you and her future.
