    since I am fairly young here...i will see if I get them...

    First, If you see an underline on any of them, put your cursor on them and they will be defined for you.

    Second I think there is a resource here somewhere with them but in any event...

    difficult child= gift from god (child with special needs, difficult behaviors, etc.)
    easy child= perfect child (typically developing children)
    IEP= Individual Education Plan (Special Education. school plan)
    daughter=daughter
    ds=son
    husband=(dear) husband
    s/o significant other
    BiPolar (BP)=bi polar
    Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)=autism spectrum disorder
    Learning Disability (LD)=learning disorder
    there are many for sensory and processing disorders, what are you interested in knowing about???

    Welcome, and feel free to introduce yourself and to create a signature in the settings area so we can support you as much as you would like.

    Hope you come by frequently! Buddy

    If you hover your mouse over most of the abbreviations, a little text box will pop-up and tell you what it means.
