I'm proud of difficult child 1...

He was driving behind a woman whose car was smoking, she turned into a shopping center and flames were coming from the bottom of her vehicle. He tried to save her car by running into Mr. Tire and getting a fire extinguisher. The car burst into flames, was a total loss. He came home and sAId "the sad thing is she was on her way to the hospital to see her son".

Good for him. I do feel sorry for her but glad he was there to at least try to help her. What a good samaritan!! Give him my kudos.

Give him a big hug from me for being nice enough to stop and do what he could to help. Good thinking on his part, and at least he didn't panic!

It's so wonderful to be able to say good things about our difficult children...........and to see some of the things we struggled so hard to teach them......and wondered if any of it ever sunk in.......actually stuck. Kuddos to difficult child 1! You've reason to be mighty proud of him.
