I called the therapist I wanted to schedule with and the secretary was in today. The therapist is full and isn't accepting any new patients until at least November. I started to cry. I had been doing ok the last 2 days - holding my own and having faith that I would get in to see this therapist and that it would work because my GP really likes her. This was like the one thing that was really keeping me together - having a plan and being proactive. The secretary was so nice and kept saying she's so sorry. Asked if I had contacted county mental health and I told her it was at least a 6 month wait. She then asked if I had tried X (the therapist that I just saw that didn't go so well) and I told her that it didn't go so well; that we didn't click. And she apologized again. So, I feel like I'm back at square one. Those were the only two tdocs in my county, besides county mental health, that take my insurance. I don't know anything about any of the ones in Franklin county so I would just be choosing blindly. I haven't cried since Monday and was feeling pretty good, considering, earlier today. My mom came up this afternoon and we went poking around a couple of stores in town and I started to cry in one of the stores. Sigh....
