I don't think its unreasonable to search for hard drugs on their person, especially if you're going to let them go out. don'tgive them money if they haven't earned it. if they want gas money, have them do a few chores first. My parents do that, and I consider it entirely fair. I can't promise that anything I say is guaranteed, but it's the best advice I have, being a teenager.
