I see my cousin, P, as having a histrionic personality disorder, and Jody Arias as borderline. :)
Funny, I never see "histrionic" used any more by professionals. What has taken its place?

My guess: Borderline. in real life I know two persons (both woman) who have themselves told me they have Borderline (BPD) (I'm sure I know more people who have that diagnosis but I assume most wouldn't go around telling it to everyone and their cousin, neither of these women are, or ever were, close friends.) As my layman opinion, both could had as easily been diagnosed with histrionic personality disorder, or if they had happen to be men; narcissistic personality disorder (some reason around here very similar behaviour leads to diagnosis of borderline pd in women and narcissistic pd in men)
