CW_MI - You sound like a very loving parent, as does your wife. I too am very sorry that this has happened and is happening to your family. It seems as though you and your wife have been wonderful parents who have done the very best they can to provide for J - both her emotional and physical health. I am relatively new to this board but I can tell you that you will receive a great deal of support from the parents here. I would agree with RE and say that it would be wonderful for you and your wife to find a support group, whether it is through NAMI or another agency. My husband and I recently found a support group and although we have only been going for the past 3 weeks we have found it very helpful. Please keep posting and reading here - it really does help to put things in perspective and learn how to detach and claim back some of your own life. You deserve that.
