JJJ- a big hug to you. Thinking of you this evening, hoping things are stable.

Hope that the grant app process is in play and they're moving fast for you.

Whew, a very long day. husband took the day off work and we accomplished many things

1) we visited a possible new school/day treatment for Kanga (liked it alot)
2) met with psychiatric hospital psychiatrist, she did write a letter recommending Residential Treatment Center (RTC) but didn't do the grant paperwork we needed
3) got Kanga
4) went to the PHP program and got Kanga admitted
5) took Kanga to the group home and settled her there
6) went to FedEx and sent the application for post-adoption support to give us more funding for an Residential Treatment Center (RTC)

All that took about 13 hours. It is a relief to have her settled for the next 2-3 weeks. I'm taking the weekend "off" of Kanga and will start again on Monday with 'taking the next logical step'.

Thank you all for being here, I would not be holing up without all of you.

Love,

Roll With It
Sending hugs and support. I am so sorry. I wish there was an excuse for people like these who turn our children away from help they so desperately need. They will answer for it. I am sure.

Hugs, have a relaxing weekend!

....Hopeful Now
I just read this post. I am sending you hugs and support. Rest up this weekend, so you can continue fighting to get Kanga the help she needs.
