Let's all go for a ride on the emotional escalator, shall we? EPIC

Problem with the rebound theory, and I totally could see that happening, is that he's also like this OFF his medications (except for the irritability part). He provokes people, he escalates, he's reactive, etc. He's just not as angry, but he could easily be pushed into that state. The hunger part is just from the fact that he doesn't eat enough during the day.

Wow, does that sound like my son!

I agree that he needs to eat on a regular schedule, that the stims could be rebounding, and that you can't reason with-a difficult child while he's in a snit. Just like an alcoholic.

I was thinking, "Awww, poor kid, that's so sweet," when you first found him locked in a room in the garage, and he pleaded, "Can't we just pretend this didn't happen?" and then when you found the porn video, I thought, "Whoa--Dennis the Menace goes through puberty!" Arrrgh!

Be good to yourself today. You need a break.

Terry, he truly acts like someone from another planet sometimes :p I look at him and think, "Who are you and what have you done with the sweet little boy I gave birth to?!!!" But then, I think most parents of teenagers experience this from time to time anyway. We just get it to the tenth power...

Absolutely!

I have a calendar page on my wall with-a funny quotation:

"Patient has two teenage children but no other abnormalities."

Sorry I'm coming into this late (I was out of town and had very limited computer time). What an awful night! Just adding in my support and hugs.
