I got the call today that director of adult ed signed off on difficult child's diploma. It's official---he is a high school graduate!!! I'm ready to party hearty people---only nothing illegal or alcoholic for me, please!!!

Next, hopefully he will find a job. He has met with voc rehab and said they will help him go to college in the fall---that's good because I certainly won't pay money for him to go to school when I couldn't get him to go for free!!! They are also supposed to help him in his job search and interview skills. He has applied for every job in town, but everyone knows his record and well...would you hire a substance absuing felon forger even if he said he was in recovery???
