I went back to school as an adult. My father had told me that I was simply not college material and refused to help me get an education out of HS. I worked full time and went to school full time after HS but I got sick and had to drop out before completion. I went back when pregnant with my second child and earned my AS in biology. I always wanted my 4 year degree and finally went back at age 41. I went full time days with the kids not in an "adult" program. I was trying to pull a double major but found that my real love was Art and not Science. I let my heart lead me instead of practicality and droped the science one course short of a major. I graduated suma 
laude at age 43. It was a dream that I feel so much better for having accomplished. -RM
