I usually shut my cell phone off at night and for some reason last night left it by my bed on vibrate. I woke up around 1:30 a.m. and saw that I had a text message. It was from difficult child and it said, thank you for all the help this week Im looking forward to tomorrow, I really want to change.

I will tell him this morning when he comes to pick up his suboxone before he goes to the clinic that the only thanks I need is for him to do whatever it takes too change. Thats all the thanks I want :)

Those moments are just a little reminder to me that my supporting him when he's making the right decisions does matter and if I wasn't there to support him, would that make a huge difference in the outcome? I believe in my heart it would. Like my boyfriend said to me, when you chose to have children you signed up for life. He's right!
