Hi again Jane. I am back now I hope! My son exhibited many of the same behaviors you are describing so I understand how you feel. He still does to some extent: lying blaming being irritated and angry a lot manipulative aggressive towards his sister, me and our pets yep, have lived through all of that and more...the worst was the suicidal and hypersexual stuff though. Things are so much better for us now that we have a medication combination and diagnoses that seem to fit. That is the key. Getting a good diagnosis and then treating appropriately. But so much easier said than done! Especially when they are very young. Sometimes it has to get worse in order to get to that diagnosis. That is what happened with us. Good that you and your husband are on the same team. Believe me, that is HUGE. I would recommend family therapy. Something we never did because my ex was opposed but I am sure it is a good thing to at least try. Do not give up hope. It is hard I know. And very scary. I am still scared even though things are going so much better. hugs, FHW
