    Hi everybody....

I have a question. My daughter's daycare has requested that the school district bring a one on one to help my daughter with her outbursts and agression. When I called the school district they scheduled a meeting for May 15, 2007, they also told me that is unlikely that I will get a one on one. What are my rights? I think she might get kicked out of daycare if I don't get the help.

It is usually quite hard to get a one on one in a private daycare or preschool setting. It would be even harder if there is no existing diagnosis.

I'd recommend that you copy this post over on the special education board. Let them know that you have an evaluation scheduled with a developmental pediatrician and that she's in a special school setting part time. Make sure to tell them age as well.
