Meltdowns are back

She did well for about a year and a half and now they are back. We've had several in the past few weeks. I'm thinking she might need an increase in the Trileptal, because her Risperdal is kind of high and makes her tired sometimes.

Admittedly, these meltdowns don't last as long as they did previously, but they are still very, very unwelcomed!

Gotta make a call to the neuro and make another appointment.

Dealing with a recurrence after a period of somewhat normalcy is so incredibly hard.

I hope the medication tweak can nip it quickly.

That's got to be disappointing. I hope you can get the medications sorted out quickly and help her settle down.

Sorry to hear this, I am also hoping a medication tweak does the trick. This is a hard time of year for a lot of our kids.

I sure hope she gets back on an even keel soon. Those meltdowns are so exhausting. Prayers for a speedy "back on track" January.
