Miss KT's summer job

The music pastor at church is running a three week performing arts day camp, and Miss KT has volunteered to be a camp counselor. Please think good thoughts that her difficult child-ness doesn't get in the way of her success. I'm afraid that if she blows this, she'll really be down on herself. She starts on Monday.

Good for Miss KT! I bet she'll do well.

It's always good for teens (especially difficult children, who tend to be just a tiny bit self-absorbed, LOL!) to do something that focuses on others instead of themselves. My difficult child used to do volunteer work with-kids and did an awesome job (I observed when he couldn't see me watching ). I hope he does it again.

It sounds like performing arts will be a good fit. My daughter was involved as a camper with these camps and adored the teen counselors. It sounds like a great channel for her energy. Compassion
