More Jumper: Everyone noticing she's not happy

I'm starting to get scared. She isn't the type of child you'd ever think would do anything stupid, but I can't help but worry. If she doesn't snap out of it soon, I"m thinking about making her quit basketball, which is where all of this is coming from. It's so frustrating when they get older and you don't really know what's wrong or what's in their heads.

Her coach is seriously scared I'm going to pull her out (sigh). Coach asked her what was wrong and she cried and said, "Nothing." So coach is going to do the best she can. It's out of my hands, but I worry that she is doing basketball SO MUCH during the basketball season. It's fine if it makes her happy; not so fine if it's making her sad.

MWM I think it was a wise choice to reach out to the lady she feels comfortable talking with but I'd hesitate about reaching out to others. You may inadvertently "back her in a corner" if she feel "everyone" is watching her. I have her in my prayers. DDD
