Queen of Hearts
Last weekend a good friend (who happens to be my piano instructor) stayed after lessons to help me make a wonderful pot of chili. It's called Clyde's Chili & is from a restaurant in Washington Difficult Child.
Family loved & all asked for a copy of the recipe.
Dad just called me - looking for chili advice. "Can't talk long, making a pot of Clyde's, Linda. Just need to know if you drain the meat before you add the worstershire & spices?"
This man who couldn't fry an egg 2 years ago is becoming quite the chef. He told me that he was going to edit the recipe - more beans & worstershire sauce, less cumin.
My mouth dropped open as he's talking like this. I love that man. He's quite the Dad.
