My brother got married in august to a jewish girl (we are catholic) in temple....lol...my baby girl now goes around telling people that because her aunt is jewish, then so she must be as well....aahhhh...the innocence and acceptance and love from youth...nothing like making a person feel accepted and part of the family :smile:

If the mother is Jewish, then the children are considered to be Jewish under religious law...

It's based on the simple fact that with the amount of slavery and serfdom going on, you always knew who the mother was.
