I am in a union InsaneCdn. My supervisor just got out of the meeting and so far my boss has only discussed our duties for the first week of school. I still have no idea what I will be doing for the rest of the year, but I have a strong feeling he is changing things up. This year for the first week of school besides making all the calls to locate the missing students, we are also creating spreadsheets of the head counts and emailing the list to the district office. For the last nine years I've been working here, the principals have been in charge of the head counts and emailing. Now my boss had this great idea to start making the attendance department do it. If he is already increasing my responsibilities for the first week of school, I have a feeling there's more to come for the rest of the year. I do not like this new boss. I am going to start looking hard for other jobs in other near by school districts. There's a lot of changes this year that don't sit well with me.
