NAMI Tardive dyskinesia

Unfortunately more cases of tardive dyskinesia are showing up with the newer atypical antipsychotics as well as with other new drugs like Requip (for restless leg syndrome). It is a major concern.

Interesting article-thanks for sharing. difficult child was diagnosis with this when he was on abilify for a very short term and it was not permanent. Interesting that according to the article they shouldn't have been able to diagnosis it that quickly, although I do believe that is what he had.
 
I don't think they like to diagnose Tardive Dyskinesia so they just call it "reslessness", "abnormal movements" or some other more innocuous term.
