New family support group meetings

I'm so excited. I went to our Sunday night AA meeting with difficult child tonight. A young man who difficult child was in rehab with goes to this meeting with his Mom every week and we have become friendly. She told me they are starting a family support group on Tuesday nights and invited me to go. She said it was mostly parents from the men's sober house that her son was in but they are trying to get parents from any of the sober house or treatment centers to join. This is just what I have been looking for. The only drawback is it's about 45 minutes from my house and it may be difficult to get there in the winter with snow but I can't wait to finally have a parents support group.
