So, if needed, I'd have to get him on a hold and then go to court to get medical guardianship for just that one area since I still have it for all other medical concerns as long as he is under eighteen. It is so messed up. My child will always need guardianship in all areas but it is so strange to me that parents can't have rights in some areas but are legally bound to provide care in others. (not saying we shouldn't have to care for our kids, just that we should have all rights to made decisions about their mental health care along with all other medical care too)..... </p><p></p><p>I hope he will agree to go there, it sounds like what you are really looking for.</p></blockquote><p></p>
