For years I had the following conversation with several docs:
doctor: Do you think she's too active/hyper/etc?
Me: She's (insert age at the time). I expect her to be bouncy, active, and run me into the ground. I'd be worried if she didn't.
I'd still question the ADHD diagnosis if I wasn't ADD myself. Heck if it didn't interfere with school to the degree it does (mostly feeding into her other diagnosis's) I don't think I'd worry about it at all.
