This is getting scary. I grew up in Lincolnwood, right off of Rogers Park. It was so snooty there that I hated it and hung out in Rogers Park to Evanston ALL THE TIME. Mostly though I was in West Rogers Park, hanging at Barnabys or this place called Ricks :) After I married first hubby we lived in West Rogers Park for two years near...I'm struggling here...Pottawatomie Park? Then I got scared of the city and we moved back to the suburbs. I moved up to Wisconsin with my second husband. WE made a double decision to get the heck out of Dodge (Chicago area0 both because of my family of origin and because it is so expensive to live in the Chicago burbs and so incredibly stressful. My daughter lives in the Chicago NW burbs, so it's only three and a half hours from here to there assuming my daughter or husband drives. It is a four and a half hour trek if I drive...lol. We do not drive on the expressways to get in. I don't supposed you grew up in a Jewish home too, huh? I mean, you don't have to answer...that's personal...but it would just be one more thing we share :)
