has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57 years old.
So sad. I feel sorry for his wife - they had been together for so many years. He always seemed like such a genuinely nice, decent guy.
He was a good guy who fought a valiant fight.
I felt so sad when I heard this. He fought so hard and was such a good actor.
He didn't act in the sort of movies I was into, but he really struck me as a class act. One of the few in Hollywood.
My sympathies go out to those who loved and knew him. He will be missed.
Seemed to be one of the good guys we grew up with - He'll be missed.

He was a cool drink of water. It's sad that he suffered so, but he made a really valiant effort.
He always seemed like one of the few true gentlemen of Hollywood and it was obvious he adored his wife.
True gentleman is right. So sorry he had that type of cancer. Not really many success stories. Prayers to the family.
