I have been researching the fear surrounding rejection. The phrase that keyed this path for me: Do Not Fear Rejection. The emphasis in that sentence: fear. So, I have been all over with that concept. Lately, I have been researching Shunning, and Abandonment Trauma, and have learned alot, which I will post on another thread. But I found this today in my researching of things. Essentially, what this therapist is describing is how that concept we call Radical Compassion works. Not Radical Acceptance, but the concept of holding ourselves with compassion as we break through the layers of denial and into healing and wholeness.
And here it is.
