difficult child 2 diagnosed with H1N1 flu this afternoon and started on Tamiflu. doctor said to expect him to be out of school at least a week.

difficult child 2 is immuned suppressed. He was due for his Humira injection (every other week) tonight. So I have a message in to his pediatric gastroenterologist asking for instructions.

Push fluids, big time. As much water as you can get him to drink. Make sure he gets plenty of rest.

I just learned I got exposed to h1n1 at clinical friday. Big healthy in your face sort of exposure. lovely. I haven't been able to get the shot yet.
