What country is it...can't remember...either Brazil or Venezuela that is completely energy independent. Most (something like 85%) of drivers use ethanol. Corn. Replenishable, clean burning fuel. And they're not driving some exotic cars. When CNN did a story on it, they were driving a car powered with ethanol. It was a Chevy. It's much, much cheaper. You get less gas mileage, but I'm sure that will change as the technology gets better. But, even with the decrease in gas mileage, it's still cheaper. And better for the environment. I would have a car that used ethanol if there were a station around here where I could fuel up. There are *some* in the midwest - or so I hear - but none around here. I've checked. Of course, rising gas prices just doesn't affect cars. It's also affecting your gas and electric bill. Our governor has asked the utility companies not to shut anyone off for non-payment during the winter months.
