    I just read this heartbreaking story and wanted to share.

    I am so tired of mental health taking a backseat, not being taken seriously as a disability and a real illness that needs specialized, individualized, treatment. That we would neglect it at the expense of those we send to war is even worse, although not entirely surprising based on my own personal experiences as a military wife long ago.

    How heartbreaking and outrageous that these men and women are denied the compassion and adequate treatment that they so desperately need.
