Fran, I don't think Loth is talking about those ones at walmart. I don't think they'd fit a child that age, would they? Any how, Darrin....Yes, my FOUR year old grandson has his own quad. A real one scaled down to his size. Not one bought at walmart, but one bought at a motorcycle shop. And no, I don't like it one bit.:biting: HOWEVER I told both easy child and sister in law that Darrin was NOT getting on that thing without full padding and a HELMET that fit him properly. To their credit, sister in law and easy child are responsible. Darrin is as protected as he can possibly be, so much so he can barely walk when not on what they refer to as the 4 wheeler. sister in law is always there supervising, plus they have the lock devise that doesn't let him go very fast. (no faster than a battery operated power wheel) PLUS they only ride the 4 wheelers out in the middle of the country on flat land owned by sister in law's best friend. NEVER in town. Loth I can't imagine! I'd be a nervous wreck. I like the idea of getting a video and sending it to cps. Eventually someone IS going to be seriously injured or killed. And I'll repeat..... I HATE that Darrin has his own 4 wheeler to ride. But at least sister in law's Dad taught him how to be responsible about it. sheesh!
