Most of the filters work well as long as they are changed when they are supposed to be. Jabber, if the pitcher would walk away, could you keep a water bottle in your desk or locker? Brita makes water bottles that have filters. They work very well and are affordable. You can get replacement filters easily. I think the filters are good for 200 gallons of water, which is a huge amount from a water bottle filter. As for the flu shots, Jabber, of course you shouldn't get them if you feel they make you get the flu. I wasn't trying to talk you into getting them. I do know that here some of the doctors were really angry with the vaccine providers because they ordered dead virus vaccines and got live virus ones instead, and they were told it was not a live virus. It was a big flap in our community back then. There were even signs outside of some of the doctor's offices that they had dead virus flu shots. I am sorry that the flu shot seems to be linked to getting sick for you, Jabber. That isn't any fun, especially when you work in a field where the flu must go through everyone like wildfire.
