I'm thinking there are 2 more things to keep in mind- one that can work in difficult child's favor but one that can work against him.

1) The very fact that they aren't holding him in detention to await this trial proves they (nor you) think difficult child is a danger to anyone and not prone to "intent to " anything violent.

2) If difficult child needs to go to a phhosp again, I'd make darn sure he got there some way other than by calling 911, a police escort, or a tdo so no gov agency on the legal side even knows about it, at least until long after this trial.
