They are laying off or transfering at least 20 employees at my school---teachers and support staff. They are also cutting days on other jobs. It is awful watching the procession of staff walking by my room and going in to hear what will happen to them. On top of that---one of the two major industries in my town is closing and almost 300 people will be out of work as well.
