Sending prayers and hugs. So much to hit you all at once, but at least they did the scans and found them, rahter than waiting for something to happen that would be worse tahn these things if found early. Push the doctor to refer you to a nutritionist for help with lifestyle and diet changes after the gallbladder surgery. while most docs have to take a class in nutrition to know what signs of deficiencies are, it is mostly the only education they get on nutrition other than the popular media stories. They usually know less than patients about nutrition, no joke. You need a nutritionist to help with that part. Make sure they get you into a good lung doctor to evaluation the scans. I have NO faith in radiologist because so often they say all is fine or normal when the detailed analysis shows significant problems. I cannot remember more than two mri's/cat scans/xrays where either my dad found something when he looked at them (no medical background) or where I got a call a week or two later that said they double checked the scan using a computer program and it caught this, that and the other problem that a specialist had to look at. Before any aggressive lung treatment you NEED at least a second opinion. Insurance must cover this, so insist on one. ((((((((((hugs))))))))))
