School isn't even in session, and...

Duckie still forgets about her homework! She's at Girl Scout day camp this week and there's a science theme with a science fair. Her unit voted to replicate the science fair project she did this spring with a friend (an observational experiment about oil spills). This vote occurred on MONDAY! She tells me at 5:30 tonight that she needs to bring in the supplies tomorrow morning. She's lucky we didn't need to buy anything. Grrr!!!

Even easy child does this. Really - its not just GFGdom.

I'm beginning to wonder if it isn't tied to a child's sense of time... as in, very elastic sense of time... on Monday, "Thursday" might as well be next year... but tonight... !!! its a whole lot closer.
Come to think of it, I know a few non-kids who have the same problem...
